Is fire man's greatest achievement or will it be man’s greatest downfall?
Fire has done many great things for man and nature alike. Fire has given us cooking, electricity, but also more destructive things like war and wildfires. Nowadays people rely on fire too much for their warmth or electricity and this just might be the downfall of man.
Using fire to cook raw meat makes digesting food easier and gives us more energy.
Cooked food also gives us a bigger brain along with smaller rib cages and also makes us taller. Without fire this wouldn't be possible, we’d still be eating raw food and bone marrow. Even our muscle structure has changed and we have become more lengthy and less stocky.
Fire has also had a big role in war. In medieval China and Europe they used fire arrows and in Vietnam we used napalm which was very destructive. Fire is even used to fire guns, old and new, it was used to ignite cannons on ships in the 1800’s. Fire has been a destructive force from the beginning of its existence, so logically we would use it for its true nature from when we first discovered it. Fire and war will always be around and will always have a strong relationship with one another.
Fire is also used to make electricity so all the lights and smart phones we use are from fire. Coal and solar are the two main sources from fire. Man uses fire for a multitude of things and from that man has become too reliant on fire. If something catastrophically destroyed most of the population and we were to withstand winter without shelter we would absolutely need fire to survive. Making fire isn’t a simple task it takes persistence and a lot of patience. What may be our absolute downfall will also be our salvation.

us alive.

pi is a mathematical constant that is the ratio of a circle's circumference to its diameter.
These ancient mathematicians, called the pythagoreans, all measured circles of different sizes and they repeated their calculations over and over. Eventually they all realized that the ratio of a circle’s circumference to its diameter is always equal to 3.14. For example, if the radius of a circle is 7 and you need to change it to a smaller circle with a radius of 2 you can use pi to get there by using this formula 2(pi)r. After the formula has been solved you can see the difference between the two circles through the circumference and the diameter but the ratio (pi) is always the same. pi is a mathematical constant that is the ratio of a circle’s circumference to its diameter where the ratio is always the same being 3.14.
